Michael Cox - Manager of Complex Energy Infrastructure Projects

A longtime Houston entrepreneur, Michael Cox manages the provision of industrial services to clients across the energy, oil, and gas sectors at Bilfinger. His present position builds on five years of leadership roles at Austin Industrial, Inc., where he generated business development growth. With experience spanning commercial strategy and negotiation, Michael Cox ensured the timely delivery of specialty infrastructure construction and maintenance services for Austin Industrial.

A military veteran, Mr. Cox served as a diver in the United States Navy, where he was responsible for underwater construction teams. Overseeing $100 million in assets and equipment, he completed a wide range of tactical operations.

Among his accomplishments, Mr. Cox expanded the scope of the work of civilian contractors, and in the process, significantly decreased costs. He was recognized by the US Navy as a “Sailor of the Year” and was successful in developing new hyperbaric certification processes.

In his free time, Michael Cox enjoys photography and athletics. He has authored a number of articles on the topic of sports and their connection with the business world.
